Real Wedding: A sunny day in Tuscany

Last week we'd a wedding in Siena, it was an amazing day with perfect weather for a wedding ceremony outdoor in the italian gardens of Villa Catignano. Svetlana and Martin, coming from Uk and Australia enjoyed a long week-end in Tuscany, we organized for them a boat ride to Elba Island, a typical tuscan lunch in Cortona, a wine tasting and dinner in a castle and a surprise birthday party for Martin. All the family and friends were accomodated in the beautiful 17th century villa and farmhouse, where both wedding ceremony and reception were held.
We arranged a white chuppah, as per jewish wedding tradition, decorated with lilac and purple hydrangea, roses lysianthus.
The wedding theme colour was lilac, as the bridesmaids dresses, the stationary, the reception tables, the flowers and the wedding favors. The ceremony was set in the Italian Gardens  and was followed by an italian style buffet cocktail. The reception and dances took place in the Tinaia room. Instead of the traditional tableau, we decorated a lemon tree with lilac ribbons and escort cards.

The couple chose to give the guests cute candy bags and bottles of olive oil, both decorated in the wedding theme colour.

After the dinner a dessert buffet and the traditional wedding cake cutting was set on the outdoor terrace and the party went dawn until dawn.

Thanks to Steven Taylor for the great pictures. Let's have a look at the slide!
