Summer wedding on Lake Como

Today we share an italian-american wedding on Lake Como. This romantic couple coming from the United States. , chose Bellagio as destination wedding , with a religious catholic ceremony in a nice church near the lake and a wedding reception in a private villa on the lake shore.

Real Wedding: Enchanting Lake Orta

I would like to share with your this romantic wedding on Lake Orta. This is a small and enchanting lake, just some km from Lake Maggiore, in the Northern Italy. Thanks to the quiet beauty of the landscape, its fascinating history and its wealth of artistic treasures, the lakes is loved by the tourists and chosen by couples around the world. Marina and Andres, coming from Sweden,  choose a beautiful church on the hill with breathtaking view on the lake and on the small San Julius island.

The newlyweds had a great photo tour around Orta, the Sacro Monte and the beautiful St. Julius Island. 

The theme colours were soft bougainvillea , white and navy blue. Avalanche roses and Phalaenopsis Orchids for the bridal bouquet. Cream and pink roses, blue fresias , iris and baby breath for the wedding reception. Mirror, sparkle confetti and candles for the reception table.

Italian buffet aperitif on the terrace on the lake ,followed by the dinner inside a panoramic room of the hotel.

Real Wedding: Amanzing day on Lake Como

Olga and Kirill chose Lake Como as setting of their wedding day. They wanted to spend a special day with their family coming from Russia and a romantic place, so the beautiful villa 18th century villa direct on the lake was the perfect venue for their wedding.

On the morning, after getting ready in the beautiful Grand Hotel, the bride enjoyed  a nice boat ride on a taxi boat to reach the villa. The wedding ceremony took place under the elegant loggia with three arches which stands on the highest point of the promontory, where you can see both sides of the lake.

After the ceremony a glass of italian prosecco with canapés for the guests under the camphor, accompanied by harp musical background ; meanwhile the newlyweds wandered around the villa terraces for few shots.

The day was perfect for a boat tour on the lake, with stop in Varenna for a photo tour and relax in a nice bar for a ice-cream and a capuccino.

Guests reached the restaurant on the other side of the lake, with the big boat and the newlyweds arrived later with the romantic taxi boat. A wedding toast and and italian buffet aperitif was arranged on the restaurant garden facing the lake, that followed a good dinner under the marquee, with the mandolin music as background.

After dinner the bride and groom reached the dance floor for the first dance and than the guests enjoyed the night dancing and having fun.
At the end a delicious white square  wedding cake  and all on the beach to launch the sky lantern...and end this magic day with a magical scenery that Lake Como offers.

We got married on Lake Como and even though we had thunder, lightening and a down pour Varese Wedding team ensured that it was still everything we had dreamed it would be. The location was perfect - a beautiful garden with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding moumtains and we managed to have the ceremony outside in both English and Italian before the rain came down.

Once the clouds opened we all ran inside to a fantastic meal where the staff were extremely attentive and helpful and the food just kept coming and coming! Whilst we enjoyed ourselves Varese Wedding staff decorated the gazebo beautifully with tealights and flowers and we managed to go back outside again for the cake and some dancing.

We really appreciated all the hard work and effort that Varese Wedding team put into our wedding day, there wasn't a request too difficult or a problem without a solution. They were helpful, full of ideas and obviously really wanted to make our day special. We will definitely remember it with such fondness and without their help it would have been such a stress to organize, needless to say it was just good fun...Read More
